In more informational terms, college stress is more of the same all thought teenagers have a tough time handling emotions and the ability to process them orderly and correctly. The significance of the problem is that students must obtain an education to lead and achieve their desired dreams or pursue their own careers, and without they end up failing or going down the wrong path. According to the article, “Depression, Anxiety, and Stress among College Students in Jordan and their Need for Mental Health Services…”, that states how college student can descend to stages of either depression, anxiety, and stress and how the institutions play an essential role in guiding them within those stages.
Research Proposal
The research question for this field research is that “can high levels of stress in a college student lead to poor academic performances, henceforth affecting their mental state very negatively”? The hypothesis is that college students that reach the critical stressful point in their college lives, will end up performing very poor in their academics and grades that will inevitably lead them to be unstable.

For the most part, about 80% of the people or viewers that answered the survey are leaning forward to gain the upper hand of dealing with the symptoms of stress and the rest of the 20% of the targeted audience seems to be nonchalant and go about their own paste and remain docile. Of the 80 percent that aimed for greater help were 70 percent freshmen, 20 percent sophomore and lastly, 10 percent of a junior that had similar thoughts of the subject. Freshmen ranging from ages 18 to 19 along teenagers years following 20, 21, and 22 making 23 an exception in rare cases.
